Yeni Kaledonya’da Fransa’dan bağımsızlık referandumu: Sandıktan ‘hayır’ çıktı

Büyük Okyanus’un güneydoğusunda yer alan, Fransa’ya bağlı özerk Yeni Kaledonya’da yapılan referandumdan alınan ilk sonuçlara göre halk bağımsızlığa az farkla da olsa ‘hayır’ dedi.

Oyların tamamının sayıldığı özerk bölgede Yüksek Seçim Komisyonu, ‘hayır’ oylarının yüzde 53,26 seviyesinde olduğunu ilan etti.

‘evet’ yükselişte

Son olarak 2018’de bağımsızlık referandumuna gidilen Yeni Kaledonya’da kısmi sonuçlara göre ‘evet’ oylarının iki yol öncesine oranla yükseldiği dikkat çekti. 4 Kasım 2018’de ‘hayır’ yüzde 56,7, ‘evet’ ise 43,3 oranında oy elde etmişti.

Katılım oranının yüzde 85,85’e ulaştığı referandumda toplam 180 bin 598 seçmene, “Yeni Kaledonya’nın egemenliğini kazanarak tam bağımsız olmasını” isteyip istemedikleri soruldu. İki yıl sonra tekrar bu pazar bağımsızlık referandumu için sandığa giden halk, statünün bozulmaması yolunda oy kullandı.
